On Christmas Eve we partnered with Magical Memories Events, On Pointe Confections and an organization called to help bring smiles to children from backstretch families.
Anna House is an early childhood education facility that takes care of and educates underprivileged children from the area. The programs are specific to the child’s age group. Infants are taught skills like listening, memory and vocabulary. Toddlers learn social interaction, independence and emotional development. For any child older than this there is tutoring and educational field trips! There is even a year round program for those with special needs!
These big hearted workers got the kids together and wrote a letter to Santa from each child asking for one or two things for Christmas. The community then donated these presents and volunteers helped wrap them! On Pointe Confections donated several yummy treats for a special surprise. And here’s where we come in; the day before Christmas Eve came and the children got a surprise from Disney’s Frozen characters Anna and Kristoff (that’s us!!!) and even Santa himself! Each child had the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap and get the present they wanted all year! This was an amazing experience and the best way to spend the holiday.
We will incorporate the links to all the amazing partners we had this holiday! Let us know if you have volunteered, we love to hear your stories!
