I have always loved this quote. It brings a sense of community to any group. We have just started our journey in the blogging community. Already we’ve met so many amazing people whom have helped us so much and we have helped in return. It shows that together we stand taller and stronger than one standing alone.
- “Life is too short to be anyone but yourself” – Step Up
This is actually a HUGE throwback for me since this was my high school senior quote! I truly believe that you can be inspired by anyone you want, but you should never lose sight of who you are in the end. You are unique, and no one in the whole world is just like you so be proud.
- “Every adventure requires a first step” – Cheshire Cat
This quote stems from one of my favorite books; Alice in Wonderland. I feel like I get caught in the bigger picture. Instead all I need to succeed is to just breathe and take the first step toward my goal.
- “I never lose I either win or learn” – Nelson Mandela
I find this quote very similar to the “Every person is either a blessing or a lesson” but extends past strictly the people in your life. It can be anything from investing in a stock, to a relationship, to going after a particular goal. You live, you learn, you grow.
- “As you grow older you discover you have two hands, one for helping yourself the other for helping others” – Audrey Hepburn
This quote was spoken by my inspiration; Audrey Hepburn. I believe that this is something we all should learn at one point or another. We here at Red Lips and Rosé are very big in giving back to our community. I believe that if you have the ability, the time, and/or the money you should find a way to help others because we are one as people. Despite color, race, ethnicity, gender, disability or ability, we are humanity and we are stronger together.
