Lemon Garlic Chicken and Green Beans

What you will need:

  • 4 boneless skin-less chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh basil leaves
  • Green beans
  • Garlic powder
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Lemon
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper
  • Olive oil

Step by step:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 °F
  2. Lightly coat a skillet with olive oil
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper
  4. Wash green beans, put in bowl with olive oil and garlic powder mix it until lightly coated
  5. Sear chicken in skillet on medium high for 3-5 minutes or until nicely brown
  6. Add garlic cloves, stir until lightly brown
  7. Arrange chicken in a single layer in baking dish
  8. Cut lemon into four thin slices, put on top of each breast
  9. Pour basil leaves and the prepared garlic cloves over the chicken breast and lemon
  10. Place green beans around chicken in pan
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes
  12. Remove from oven and let sit for a couple of minutes
  13. Transfer chicken and green beans to a serving plate and enjoy!
