
Ingredients:
- 1 pound salmon filet
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 lemon, half sliced thin, half juiced
- garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Asparagus:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Put asparagus on a baking pan
- Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil over asparagus
- Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder
- Mix well making sure each is evenly coated
- Put in oven and cook for 30-35 minutes.
Salmon:
- Slice filet into large slivers, 1-2 inches wide
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over each filet
- Heat olive oil in medium sized skillet on medium high
- Cook skin side up for 3-6 minutes or until flesh side is golden brown
- Flip over carefully
- Cook for another 2 minutes
- Add the lemon juice and butter in the pan, stir around each filet for 1 minute
- Remove from skillet, peel off skin carefully
- Garnish with lemon slices
